Chapter 126 Chess Is A Harem War

‘I shouldn’t offend Allen or else I would always be on the losing side. I don’t know why but my instincts tell me that he is an existence who I couldn’t fathom, an anomaly.’

Carrion firmly believed not to make an enemy out of Allen since he knew that if Allen was his opponent, especially in war, he knew that his strategies would be outsmarted by Allen.

Not to mention, Allen also had the <Supreme Psychic> talent and if the two of them were to have a one-on-one battle, Carrion doubted whether he could even hurt Allen with his military martial arts.

“At least you know that you can’t defeat me. Do you want to resign or not? We can end this if you want.”

Allen offered to Carrion for him to resign since Carrion’s defeat was already inevitable since it was forced mate in 9.

“I won’t resign. Since we have started the chess match, we might as well play until the end.”

Carrion declined Allen’s offer for him to resign and Allen didn’t mind Carrion’s decision as he had already expected Carrion to decline.

“You do you. Since you want the game to continue, then I will respect your decision.”.

“King to g3.”

Allen moved himself to the g3 square as his white throne landed on the g3 square.

“King to c1.”

The black throne that Carrion sat upon moved as it stopped on the c1 square. Since Carrion was planning on continuing the game, then he might as well not blunder any moves so that the chess match would last till mate in 9.

After all, if he even made one mistake or even an inaccuracy, it would take lesser moves for Allen to checkmate Carrion.

With those thoughts in mind, Carrion planned to not make any mistakes unlike before. He knew that his defeat was inevitable but it didn’t mean that he wouldn’t go down without a fight!

“Pawn to g7.”

Allen commanded his white pawn to move as it marched towards the g7 square.

“I guess it’s the end, brother.”

“It’s all for the sake of the white king’s victory!”

The g7 white pawn talked to his fellow white pawn that was on the h7 square. Both of them knew that the h7 white pawn would be sacrificed for the sake of allowing the g7 white pawn to promote to a queen.

After all, if their white king had a white queen in his ranks, then he would be able to win against the black king easily.

Moreover, the h7 white pawn was within the attack range of the black rook and was a free pawn for the black army to eliminate.

So rather than letting both pawns promote to a queen, it was better for the black army to eliminate one white pawn and only let one white pawn promote to a queen rather than having two white pawns promote to two white queens.

“Rook takes the pawn on h7.”

Carrion commanded his black rook to eliminate the white pawn on the h7 square since it was an unguarded piece. Of course, it was the best move available since if Carrion didn’t take the h7 white pawn, he would be mated earlier.

Having one enemy queen was better than two and since it was a free piece, Carrion didn’t mind taking it.

“Pawn to g8, promote to a queen.”

The white pawn arrived at the promotion square as it transformed from a male foot soldier to a beautiful queen wearing a white royal dress and a white crown on her head.

It was quite the sight, seeing a male foot soldier gender-bend into a female white queen.

“It’s quite weird seeing a male pawn turn to a female when promoting to a queen.”

Allen couldn’t help but comment as he witnessed a male turn into a female within his sight.

“Actually, all chess pieces, except for the king, are all females.”

Carrion informed Allen who despite secretly having the <Supreme Chess Grandmaster> talent, was quite ignorant to chess memes.

Allen indeed had the <Supreme Memer> talent but he had yet to use it and since it was thought of by his instincts that it was a “negative” talent, he currently didn’t use it.

Allen’s <Supreme Order> talent worked like a passive skill that could be toggled to turn on and off and currently, all of the “negative” talents such as <Supreme Rapist>, <Supreme Ugly Bastard>, and other “negative” talents were turned off.

So unless Allen turned on all of his <Supreme> talents whether good or bad, he wouldn’t become a “know-it-all” or a master in every field, job, and profession.

And that was why Allen was quite ignorant of the chess meme that Carrion had talked about to Allen.

Seeing that Allen didn’t know what he meant, Carrion decided to enlighten Allen about the true secret of chess!

“So it’s like this. We all know that a Queen is a female, right? Or at least, it’s mostly used as a title granted to females only.”

“Yes, what about it?”

“A pawn can promote to a queen, right? So it’s safe to assume that all pawns must be girls too. And a pawn can turn into any piece except the king so that means all the pieces beside the king are females.”

Hearing that explanation from Carrion, Allen seemed to have understood some of the secrets about chess. But of course, Carrion wasn’t finished in his explanations yet.

“So basically, Chess is a harem war between two sides which consisted of the white king and the black king. And then those two kings steal each harem member of the opposing side one by one, like NTR.”

Carrion explained to Allen but even so, Allen was still confused about one thing. Although Allen already had a guess, it was still better to hear it from Carrion who knew more about chess than him, at least about chess memes, of course.

There was no way that Carrion knew more about Chess than Allen who could defeat him in Chess. And since Allen currently wasn’t using his <Supreme Memer> talent, then Carrion currently has more knowledge about chess memes than Allen.

“If what you said about chess being a harem war and all chess pieces except for the king are all females, then why are the chess pieces in this simulation of yours except for the queen, are all males?”

Allen asked Carrion while Carrion only looked at him as if it was already obvious.
