Chapter 334: Meeting Han Qi Feng
On the other side.
After hanging up the phone, Enna Clark fell into a daze for a while. Then she texted the paid posters to tell them to stop posting for now.
An hour later, an audio clip was sent to her cell phone.
Once Enna confirmed that Jasmine Clark had been placed under supervision, she saved the incoming audio clip and then video-called the secretary showing him that she’s deleting the remaining clips.
Having done all this, Enna felt a wave of relief wash over her. The relaxation of taut nerves only then made her realize that it was quite late.
She turned off her laptop, took a shower, and then went to wake Bobby up.
“Knock, knock…
“Bobby, it’s time to wake up.”
Enna had barely knocked twice when the door opened. Tobias Clark, dressed in a neat little shirt, showed no signs of having been asleep.
Enna frowned in surprise and looked inside, “Darling, didn’t you sleep?”
“Couldn’t sleep, played some games.” Tobias quickly changed the topic, “By the way, woman, tonight…”
He was struggling with how to refer to Dubious Man.
“That guy, isn’t he coming for dinner tonight?” Tobias averted his handsome little face in discomfort. Uncle Baron had completely become a nameless character.
Knowing her son’s prideful and coy personality resembles that of another, Enna held back her laughter and teased him, “Darling, who were you talking about?”
Tobias didn’t take the bait. With a drawn expression, he puckered his little mouth and huffed, “Nobody! It doesn’t matter if he comes or not! I just wanted to tell you, there’s no food at home. If someone does come over tonight, they’ll just have to eat dirt!”
Pfft!
Even though he was clearly worried about his dad coming over and not having dinner ready, still, he had to sound so ferocious. Enna could no longer hold back her laughter and giggled, “Don’t worry, I won’t let ‘that someone’ starve. Didn’t I wake you up? Let’s go. We’ll buy what we need for tonight’s meal. And I’ll take you out for a spin.”
Tobias’s ears turned hot at her teasing. He was still a child, and his milky face instantly turned serious, as he retorted, “Woman, what do you mean by tagging me along… We are going out for a spin, and incidentally buying groceries!”
Enna got his shoes for him, patted his head, and soothed him, “Yes, yes, yes. Our primary purpose is to go out for a spin and maybe buy some groceries on the way home.”
“That’s more like it.” The five-year-old little guy’s desire for favoritism was fulfilled. He didn’t want Enna to worry and put on his shoes by himself. Putting his hands in his pockets, the sprout was full of airs at only five, “I’ll wait for you outside. Hurry up.”
Enna, ‘ .
At King’s Palace Square in the city center, after Enna bought the kid a Coke, she looked towards a place not far away surrounded by a lot of people and said while holding his hand, “Darling, let’s go there and check it out.”
Bobby took a sip of his Coke and reluctantly followed Enna’s footsteps with an air of coolness.
King’s Palace Square is very large, with many vendors choosing to set up stalls and hold events to attract consumers.
Enna thought that there must be a sale going on in this booth attracting so many people. Unexpectedly, everyone was holding a flyer in their hands, not the merchandise she thought.
Unfortunately, the crowd was too big, and she couldn’t squeeze in to see what the flyer was selling.
Just then, a familiar, warm voice sounded her name in joy and surprise,
“Enna?”
